Ambassador of Pak granted Order of Independence by UAE President

Moazzam Ahmed Khan, the ambassador of Pakistan to UAE was awarded Order of Independence by the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan as appreciation for his efforts in strengthening and developing cooperation and friendly relations among the two nations.

The ceremony was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE’s Minister of foreign affairs and the International Cooperation granted Khan with the honour.

Sheikh Abdullah then applauded Moazzam Ahmed Khan for his significant contribution towards enhancing relations between the countries and wished him luck for his future endeavors.

Khan later thanked UAE’s foreign minister for the honor and acknowledged the UAE leadership and the people for the support and cooperation ensuring his commitment to take their ties to the next level.

After having served as the Ambassador for 3 years in UAE, Khan is all set to move to Islamabad as Special secretary in the ministry of foreign affairs.
