PM Imran Khan is all set to represent Pakistan at the 19th meet of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization at Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan today.
Prime Minister was invited to be a part of the two-day summit by Kyrgyzstan’s President Sooronbay Jeenbekov.
PM is scheduled to address two meeting sessions and various decisions are expected to be approved apart from agreements to strengthen cooperation and relations in multiple fields. The prime minister is also expected to meet the leaders of member states of SCO on the sidelines.
After Pakistan became a member in 2017, it has been an active participant on various platforms in SCO procedures including foreign affairs, national security and bilateral trade.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had attended the SCO Council of Foreign ministers meet in Bishkek last month in order to finalize the resolutions and documents to be signed at the SCO Council of Heads meeting.Share On
