Prime Minister Imran provides Eid prayers at Banigala mosque

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan provided Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the Banigala mosque together with the employees deputed at the Secretariat. After the prayers, the prime minister mingled with the people and desired them, Eid, good wishes. Sooner, in his message to the countrymen on the celebration of Eidul Fitr, the prime minister declared the objective of Eid was to promote unity, brotherhood, sacrifice, and generosity among the Muslims.

He extended good wishes to the nation and thanked Allah Almighty for blessing with such a celebratory day. He declared the people could only share joys of Eid with others unless they abided by the golden principles of Islam and promote generosity by doing away with negative behaviors including jealousy, greed, and hatred. He declared the govt had embarked upon the journey to put the nation on the track of progress and prosperity.

“Insha Allah, we will quickly succeed in growing Pakistan on the pattern of State of Madina by ridding it of social and economic challenges,” he remarked. He declared the State of Madina had become a model in the human history that had won laurels for contributing to human welfare. The incumbent govt would keep playing its responsible role for growing Pakistan into a real welfare state. He also sought public help and struggle to help the govt achieve this objective, he added. The prime minister also prayed to Allah Almighty to make Pakistan a cradle of peace and prosperity for what every Pakistani was yearning.
